Bellator Fighting Championships Results; Imada defeats Masvidal, Alvarez

2009.
With what will be called by many as a great submission finish, Toby Imada
advanced to the finals of the Bellator Fighting Championships lightweight
tournament by submitting Jorge Masdival via an incredible triangle choke
that put Masvidal to sleep in a fight that Masvidal had in the bank.
Eddie Alvarez submitted Eric Reynolds via a rear naked choke in the third
round to advance in the Bellator Fighting Championships lightweight
tournament. Alverez will now face Toby Imada in the finals.
